1. Statue of Liberty:



Statue of Liberty was a gift to United States from the people of France in honor of the friendship established during the French Revolution. Now it is an American icon of freedom.  You can visit Liberty Island and nearby Ellis Island but the interior of Statue of liberty is closed.


2. Ellis Island Immigration Museum:


The Ellis Island immigration Museum is one of the country’s most popular historic sites. It is a part of the statue of Liberty National Monument. Visiting the Ellis Island immigration museum is a free attraction in New York. This 100,000 sq. ft. museum on three floors of the main building; includes objects, prints, photographs, videos, interactive displays and oral histories.

3. Empire State Building:


The Empire State Building is a 102-story skyscraper located in New York City. It offers visitors wonderful views of New York City and surrounding area. It has a roof height of 1.250 feet. It stood as the world’s tallest building for 40 years, from its completion in 1931 until the construction of the World Trade center’s North tower was completed in 1972.

4. Staten Island Ferry:
  

This Staten Island Ferry is a passenger ferry service from lower Manhattan to Staten Island. It is used by computers and visitors wanting a view of the harbor and the Statue Of liberty.

Metropolitan Museum is an art museum in New York City. It is one of New York City’s most popular tourist attractions; it welcomes over 5 million visitors a year. Over 2 million works of art are housed at Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was founded in 1870 by a group of American citizens. Here you’ll be able to see variety of arts. It is an iconic art museum. Metropolitan is well worth a visit as it offers you a vast collection.

6. Watkins Glen State Park:



Watkins glen Park is the most famous, with a reputation for leaving visitors spellbound. It is located on the edge of the village of Watkins Glen, New York. The main feature of this park is the hiking trail that climbs up through the gorge, passing over and under waterfalls. The park includes a campground, a large picnic area, a swimming pool, etc.

7. Letchworth State Park:


It is often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the East”. Letch worth State Park spans more than 14,000 acres , contains spectacular vistas,  a major dam, campsites, more than 30 waterfalls, museums, historic buildings and so many other things to do.

8. The Museum of Modern Art:


It was founded in 1929 as an educational institute. It was the first museum dedicated entirely to contemporary art. The Museum of Modern art collection has grown to include over 150,000 paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, prints, architectural models and design objects. 

9. Grand Central Terminal:


It is a monumental railway station and it was constructed in 1903-1913 for the New York and Harlem railroad company. It is a beautiful Beaux-arts building in midtown Manhattan. It is now both a transportation hub, as well as a destination in itself for visitors to New York City.

10. Rockefeller Center:


Rockefeller is also known as radio city. It is a complex of 19 commercial buildings. Rockefeller center is also known as ‘city in the city’. All buildings share a common design style, Art deco and are connected to each other via an underground concourse, the catacombs.

11. American Museum of Natural History:


This museum is located on the upper west side of Manhattan in New York City. It is one of the largest and most celebrated museums in the world. This Museum contains 25 interconnected buildings having 46 permanent exhibition halls, research laboratories, and its renowned library.

12.Central Park:


It is a public park at the center of the Manhattan in New York City, United States. The park initially opened in 1857. You can enjoy her by taking a boat ride or you can enjoy a picnic.
