Carlsbad Caverns National Park is in Guadalupe Mountains in southeastern New Mexico. Carlsbad Cavern includes a large cave chamber, the Big Room, a natural limestone chamber. It is the third largest chamber in North America and the seventh largest in the world.

The White Sands National Monument is a U.S National monument. This area is in the mountain-ringed Tularosa Basin and comprises the southern part of a field of white sand dunes composed of gypsum crystals. The monument is completely surrounded by military installations.

The palace of Governors is the oldest continuously occupied public building in the United States. It is an adobe structure located on Palace Avenue on the plaza of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Palace originally served as the seat of government of Spanish colony of Nuevo Mexico, which previously comprised the present-day states of Texas, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, California, and New Mexico.

5. Monastery of Christ in the Desert:

The Monastery of Christ in the desert was founded in 1964 by a monk of Mount Savior Monastery in New York State. The Monastery is surrounded by miles of undisturbed wilderness amidst the Chama Canyon wilderness area 75 miles north of Santa Fe.
